PERANCANGAN SISTEM PENDUKUNG KEPUTUSAN PEMILIHAN BIBIT SAPI UNGGUL DENGAN METODESIMPLE ADDITIVE WEIGHTING (SAW) PADA PETERNAKAN SAPI KUNCUNG WENGI FARM

The selection of superior cattle breeds is an important step in the livestock industry to ensure productivity and quality of livestock products. Kuncung Wengi Farm faces challenges in determining the best cattle breeds objectively and efficiently. This research develops a Decision Support System (SPK) using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to help the selection process of superior cattle breeds. The SAW method was chosen for its ability to provide a comprehensive assessment based on various relevant criteria, such as weight, height, price, and growth age. The system integrates these data and processes them into a final score for each breeder. The results of the study show that the use of SAW method in this SPK can improve accuracy and speed in the selection process of superior cattle breeds at Kuncung Wengi Farm. Thus, this system is expected to be an effective tool for farmers in making better and measurable decisions.
