Perancangan Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Pemilihan Supplier Pada Toko Pancing MM Dengan Metode SAW

Abstract

This research aims to design a website-based Decision Support System (SPK) using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method for supplier selection at MM Fishing Shop. This shop has had difficulty in determining the best supplier objectively and efficiently, often relying on intuition and personal experience rather than measurable data, which results in suboptimal and consistent decisions. The development method used is waterfall, starting from requirements analysis, system design, development, testing, to maintenance. This system is designed to facilitate management in adding criteria and alternatives, displaying the calculation stages with the SAW method, and providing conclusions of preferences from existing alternatives. The results show that this system is effective in helping management determine the best suppliers objectively and efficiently, while encouraging suppliers to improve their performance. The implementation of this system not only simplifies the supplier selection process, but also provides a more accurate and informational solution for management in making strategic decisions.
