Abstract

In the current digital era, interactive video technology has emerged as a potent tool for product and service promotion.  Social media on websites like YouTube and TikTok is one example. Both platforms are now used by the Uniska Kediri Computer Engineering study program to recruit new students for each batch. Pre- and post-tests are used in this study's quantitative approach using a pre-experimental design to gauge how interested potential new students are in watching videos that have been posted to the TikTok and YouTube sites. The study's conclusions demonstrate a noteworthy rise in the number of new students enrolled in each batch following their viewing of videos on TikTok, YouTube, and social media. These results demonstrate that using video material on YouTube and TikTok to promote the Uniska Kediri Computer Engineering study program is a successful marketing tactic in the field of education.
