Abstract

Health is essential for quality life, yet diagnostic errors are a significant issue globally. Acute Respiratory Tract Infection (ARTI) is common in Indonesia, posing substantial health risks. This study aims to develop a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) using the Certainty Factor method to diagnose ARTI, especially in areas with limited medical personnel. The system achieved 86.67% accuracy in tests, aligning with expert diagnoses in most cases. However, further optimization is needed to address discrepancies, highlighting both the potential and challenges of this approach.
