PERANCANGAN SISTEM KENDALI SUHU PADA OVEN LISTRIK MENGGUNAKAN METODE GREY WOLF OPTIMIZER

Electric ovens typically come with an on-off control system, which is inefficient in maintaining a stable temperature as required by users. This study aims to design and implement a more effective temperature control system using the Grey Wolf Optimizer (GWO) method. GWO is an optimization algorithm inspired by the hunting behavior of grey wolves, which has advantages in convergence and exploration of optimal solutions. In this study, the performance of GWO is compared with the Genetic Algorithm (GA) and the conventional PID Controller method with Ziegler-Nichols tuning. The test results show that the GWO method provides faster and more stable responses in reaching the desired temperature, with lower overshoot and shorter recovery time compared to GA and PID Controller Ziegler-Nichols. Thus, GWO offers a superior alternative in temperature control of electric ovens, potentially enhancing heating efficiency and quality in various industrial applications.
